Q: Is the hostel close to the ferry terminal or airport? Do you provide transportation?
A: We are located in the downtown Juneau area, 15 minutes from the airport and about 30 minutes from the ferry terminal. Transportation from the ferry terminal is either a walk along the highway about 1 1/2 miles to the nearest bus stop ($2.00 fare), or a taxi ride to downtown (about $45 fare). Transportation from the airport is a little easier. There is an express bus that runs weekdays between the hours of 7am and 5pm. Otherwise a taxi from the airport runs about $35.
We do not provide transportation.
Q: How long can I stay at the Hostel?
A: Guests are limited in their length of stay. Our policy states that guests may stay (5) five nights in a row. These maximum limits allow new travelers the opportunity to stay at the Hostel. Extended stay requests beyond the 5 day limit will be taken on a case by case basis subject to board approval.
