Question One
Q: Is the hostel close to the ferry terminal or airport? Do you provide transportation?
A: We are located in the downtown Juneau area, 15 minutes from the airport and about 30 minutes from the ferry terminal. Transportation from the ferry terminal is either a walk along the highway about 1 1/2 miles to the nearest bus stop ($1.50 fare), or a taxi ride to downtown (about $30 fare). Transportation from the airport is a little easier. There is an express bus that runs weekdays between the hours of 7am and 5pm. Otherwise a taxi from the airport runs about $25. We do not provide transportation.
Question Two
Q: How long can I stay at the Hostel?

A: Guests are limited in their length of stay. Our policy states that guests can stay (5) five nights in a row. These maximum limits allow new travelers the opportunity to stay at the Hostel.  As far as an extended stay is concerned we are not set up to accommodate people for that. Question Three
Q: I would like to make a reservation for a room in December, can I do that?
A: We only make reservations for the busy summer months of June, July, and August. You may begin making these reservations in January of every year. We can accommodate up to 47 persons, and will be able to accommodate upon your arrival in Juneau.
