The Juneau International Hostel is located in downtown Juneau at 6th and Harris Streets. It
is nine miles from the airport and twelve miles from the ferry terminal. It is six blocks from the waterfront, four blocks
from the Capitol Building, and near the beginning of several popular Juneau hiking trails. The building is a historic home
that has been adapted for use as a hostel.
The Juneau Hostel, which is open to all ages, provides year-around accommodations
in separate dormitories for men and women, a family room, a comfortable common room with fire place, cooking facilities, laundry,
lockers, bike rack, storage and free internet service. Handicap accessible.
Fees: $10 adults 18+
$5 children
6-17
Free 5 and under (children must be accompanied by parents)
Cash only when registering at the hostel
Reservations
are required for the family room which is available only for families with children and is handicap accessable.
For
groups of 8 or more, reservations are required throughout the year
Reservations are accepted if accompanied by a deposit
of the first night’s fee and by indicating the dates you want to stay along with the number of males and females. Credit
Cards (Visa or Mastercard) are accepted only for making reservations - not at the door. There is a $3.00 reservation
fee and reservations are non-refundable.
There is a maximum five (5) day stay.
Hours: Summer May 10 - Sept. 15, 7:30 - 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. (not open from 9
a.m. to 5 p.m.)
Winter Sept. 16 - May 9, 8-9 a.m. and 5 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.
